Studio Coakley was launched in 2018 in San Francisco, CA and recently expanded to serve the Sacramento and Placer County areas. Christine Coakley began as a newborn and family photographer and has now expanded to all lifestyle photography, including maternity, couples, weddings, personal and professional branding and modern school portraits. Christine has a gentle approach to guiding clients, directing and posing in ways that capture your authenticity in the best light.

I am a mom of two little girls, Emilia and Giuliana, in Northern California. I see beauty all around me and am inspired by IN BETWEEN MOMENTS and small details in everyday life. I empower women to feel beautiful, confident, feminine, and unique. I enjoy living slowly, seasonally, and artistically. Collaborating with like-minded women to bring concepts to life through photos light me up. Let’s work together to create images that tell your story in the best light and capture your authenticity.

OUR STORY
My husband, Ryan, and I met 12 years ago, we fell in love in Italy and have traveled all over Europe, Bali/Indonesia and Mexico together. We have lived all over California together and enjoy spending time outdoors in Lake Tahoe, Stinson Beach and the American River. We love to garden, hike, go camping, ski/snowboard, cook, and play with our two little girls as much as we can.

I am inspired by photos that make you feel like these were secret moments shared by individuals, with no photographer in sight. I capture small details, hair blowing in the wind, hands holding, leaning heads on each other's shoulders, that glance that a husband gives his wife that she adores, laugh lines, eyes closed, all of these details make images magical to me.
